Poetry

I’ve been writing and publishing poetry since 1973, mostly in small press magazines. Two short collections, “Savage Portrait” and “Outlaws” were published in the mid seventies and early eighties. If you follow the links below you can read a few of my more recent poems. I’ve also been working on a project in Lichfield with a group called The Company of Poets. The result of that collaboration is a long narrative poem called “Stone Voices”. You can find out more about that by following the link on the main page.

I have continued to write a small number of poems over the years, and some of these can be read on this website, by clicking the appropriate links beneath this paragraph. This section is becoming increasingly popular and I shall add new poems regularly. All poems are directly printable, and can also be viewed in easily readable scrolling format, with the exception of The Desire of Women which I have made available for free download in printable Microsoft Word format.
